Last Friday saw members of Donaghadee lifeboat fundraising team organise the fourth year of the RNLI sporting challenge.The popular event where P7 pupils from local primary schools join together to play team games with the aim of them finding out how important it is to work together to get the best results.
This illustrates to the children the importance of teamwork as practiced by a lifeboat crew when out on a rescue saving lives at sea.
This year more tham sixty pupils took part from Donaghadee,St Anne’s Ballyvester, Millisle, Carrowdore and Killard who kindly host the event.
This years winner was Carrowdore Primary.
