Alert proves to be false alarm 15th May 201426th March 2016 The lifeboat was launched at 6.25pm after a passing aircraft reported an emergency signal five miles west of the Copeland Islands. After a 40-minute search of the area the Saxon was stood down and the incident logged as a false alarm.
