Lifeboat launched to potential aircraft emergency 5th July 201426th March 2016 The lifeboat was launched again at 1.09pm after a request from the Coastguard which had been notified of an incoming aircraft with a potential emergency situation. The aircraft landed safely at George Best Airport and the lifeboat was stood down.
